Welding is one of the most demanding operations in the manufacturing process. Automated welding meets the highest requirements for accuracy, quality and productivity – and that in continuous operation. Let us advise you on your specific welding robot!
Welding cells for consistently high quality
The automated welding processes of the S&Ü welding robots enable precise weld seams of consistent quality and repeatability with reduced processing times. The seams are exact and clean. Times for reworking are reduced.
Welding robots as work-saving cobots and industrial robots
S&Ü offers collaborative robots, thus cobots, for the automated welding of smaller batches, for example the CRX-10iA. Due to its relatively simple programming and operation, it can be used without extensive staff training. For example, the robot track can be entered via a graphic interface. Welding cobots help you to compensate for the shortage of skilled workers for welding work, as your employees can take on even complicated welding work without special training. Another advantage of welding cobots is that, as lightweight robots, they can be used in a location-flexible and space-saving manner without the need for elaborate protective fences.
The S&Ü industrial robots for welding, on the other hand, are highly specialised and take on fully automated tasks in large-scale production with fast cycle times or for high payloads. In these areas of application, the usually larger systems are permanently installed.
Compact welding robots for gas-shielded welding
Apart from handling, welding is one of the most important areas of application for robots. S&Ü designs and manufactures your individual robot for gas-shielded metal welding, such as TIG welding (tungsten inert gas welding), MAG welding (metal active gas welding) and laser welding.
The welding machine has been developed for the automated welding of assemblies in different sizes. It has a stationary circumferential welding torch with pneumatic swivelling devices and pneumatic separation as well as a clamping of the assemblies for positioning.
The workpieces can be inserted and removed at an ergonomic working height. The machine is operated with a Siemens touch panel on a flexible swivel arm.
